Whose job is it to greet a visitor? To say hi to a new family? To encourage the praise team after church? To help out in the nursery? Whose job is it to minister to people at church?

       Paul seems to think the responsibility of ministry falls on all of us. 2 Corinthians 5:20, “So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” We are Christ’s ambassadors! We all have been given this ministry task, to make God’s appeal to the world.

       Whose responsibility is it reach out to the new family, to greet them, to welcome them, to encourage the staff and worship leaders, to encourage the media team, to prepare communion and help the service go smoothly? It’s all of our responsibility. We all are ambassadors of Christ!

       Thank you for being an ambassador. Thank you for stepping up and volunteering here at FCC. I truly believe that amazing things are happening at our church because so many people like you have said yes to God’s invitation to be his ambassador. Thank you for looking around at the church and say, “I want to help my church’s ministry because it’s my ministry too!”
